MY PHILOSOPHY
My ideal, my philosophy
"The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth ... All things stand like the blood that unites the same family ... All that happens to the earth, happens to the sons of the land ..."
Sitting Bull Chief of the Lakota tribe. The choice of organic cultivation in my garden was done naturally because it seemed essential to me to protect, to preserve these two hectares of land of which I have the responsibility for a time, just as we are guarantors, together, of this vast enclosure bounded by the biosphere.

THE IRIS ROAD

An unprecedented tourist offer for lovers of beautiful gardens!
Through the wonderful landscapes of the Loire Valley, Sologne and Berry, seven parks and gardens and two creators and producers of Iris have joined to offer you an original "floral circuit" to discover the world of iris, a royal flower whose chromatic range is almost infinite.
Following the blooming of the tulips and at the very beginning of the roses, discover in May the presentation squares of Iris and the new creations of the two world-renowned breeders: Pascal Bourdillon and Richard Cayeux. On their sites, hundreds of varieties spread over several hectares, offer an explosion of colors and fragrances!
The seven places
Parks & Gardens, labeled for the most part "Jardin remarquable", (a guarantee of quality) offer important collections of irises. Visiting these lush greenery, you will appreciate the collections, carefully conducted and sometimes associated with other plants. An inspiration for your gardens!
Between Orleans and Nevers, the Route des Iris runs in 2, 3 or 4 days depending on the number of sites visited.
Depending on the weather, the flowering of the big irises generally culminates during the second half of May: do not hesitate to contact the producers from the end of April to know the ideal time to venture on the "Route des Iris" in the region Centre-val de Loire.
Le Jardin de Marie is one of the 7 gardens to visit on this Route.
